Part Time RN Div 1 / Div 2 Medication Endorsed Nurse

A rewarding position as a part time (2 days per week) experienced practice nurse has been made available. This role was designed to assist our 11 practitioners and our nursing department. 

We are seeking a highly self motivated individual. We are a dynamic company within the health care and industrial industry that values our staff.

This position will expose to you a broad range of triage skills, acute illness, injuries, & preventative health with a diverse patient mix.

The role will include:
• Pre employment medicals
• Chronic Disease Management (Care plans)
• Health Assessments
• ECG
• Pathology Collection
• Recalls
• Wound Management
• Assisting doctors with surgical procedures
• Sporadic offsite work
• Sterilising instruments
• Patient triage & a high level of communication
• Multi tasking, problem solving & time management
• Confidentiality & management of patient records

To be considered for this role you will possess the following:
• Immunisation Qualifications (not a necessity but advantageous)
• Strong care plan knowledge
• Must have worked in a general practice environment for a minimum of 1 year
• Mature, reliable, flexible & caring disposition with a sense of urgency
• Must be medication endorsed
